12 Days of Christmas... day 1.

This year, Caleb is finally old enough to really understand Christmas.  We are trying a few new traditions, to see what will "fit".
We are reading the Jesse Tree devotions, and having Caleb color an ornament.  He seems to be enjoying this, and often will remind us to read our Bible passage.

Today, we begin the "12 Days of Christmas".  We will be doing something each day as a family - small, big, all day, for 1 minutes.  Just something to celebrate family time, and being together.  Day 12 - will be Christmas day!

Day 1:  We went to Chick-Fil-A for "receipt day".  We keep todays receipt, and bring it back at a later time, for the same meal - for free!  We for sure wanted to take advantage of that!

Tonight, we are having a Christmas party here - with homeschool friends.

What a great day today has been and will continue to be!
