BIG boy bed!!!!

Friends of ours bought a home in our neighborhood that was FULL of antiques.  The owners took most, but before hand, our friends were able to ear mark a few things they would like to keep... we got to join in on that as well, and Robert found an antique twin bed in the attic.  So, we bought it and stuck it up in our attic waiting for the time to move Caleb into a big bed.... today was the day!!!

Robert took it out of the attic, and I spent about an hour washing all the dirt and grime away. 

We got it set up and it is a SHORT bed... it was so cute looking!

I put the matress along side it, so you could see that it is about 12 inches too short!

Thankfully, Robert remembered that we had standards rails stashed away in the attic.

I am SO proud of Caleb - he went right into his big bed with no complaints.
