My mom turned 70. This is a big event! We don't usually have huge birthday parties. We acknolwedge the day, of course, and give a gift and hug, but that is about it. Well, this year my brother and his family helped us pull off a great surprise for mom!I asked my mom to spend all day Saturday with me. Steve, Sarah and Nathan drove down from DC on Friday. When mom came over Saturday morning for breakfast with me, they were waiting to yell SURPRISE!!! And what a surprise it was!!!!
Then Steve told mom there was another surprise, and to close her eyes.. she immediately said: "You brought the dog???!!!!!!" (She LOVES the dog!)
After breakfast, Mom, Rachel, Sarah, Sarahs mom, and I went to a tea room for lunch. There was another surprise there... 5 of moms friends were waiting to join us!!!

Awww that's awesome. My mom and I went to that tea room for Mom's Day a couple of years ago.
